Work Matters
After making humanity in his image, God gives Adam and Eve work to do in the Garden of Eden. It is a creative, cultivating work, in which they would be co-laborers, working toward God's ultimate vision of a completely flourishing city. From the beginning, work was good. It was God's idea. He worked, and he gave humanity work to do. This is the starting point for understanding why work matters.
